Our Story
Mages of the Mountains began recently, in the Summer of 2020. We were struggling to find our place in a COVID World, one of us a recent graduate, the other a rising junior. Then we thought-- we work well together, we’ve built worlds together. Why not make our own place?
We’re both great fans of the Dungeons and Dragons game--telling stories, rolling dice, fighting epic battles, and earning our place in the world. These great tales we lived through in high school and college have stayed with us, and have helped us grow into our image of ourselves.
Dina works with the Lycée Français running online activities with kids, and Tyler worked at a knife company as a salesperson. These jobs have given us the experience and contacts we need to kick off. We haven't looked back.
Bringing this world to life for kids is such a joy every single day. Their creativity, resourcefulness, and reliance on each other continue to surprise and inspire us. We hope to continue this for many Adventures to come.

Tyler Strafford (He/Him)
Co-Creator/Game Master
I was born and raised in Seattle, Washington, and am currently studying at Wesleyan University in Connecticut as a member of the Class of 2022. I started playing D&D about two years ago, and it’s become a big passion of mine. I’m so excited to embark on this Adventure!

Dina Fulconis (She/Her)
Co-Creator/Game Master
I was born in Paris, France, and currently live in San Rafael, California. I recently graduated from Wesleyan University in May 2020, with a Bachelor of Arts in English & Creative Writing. I've been playing Dungeons & Dragons for over 12 years, and I have been babysitting and tutoring kids for almost as long. I am so excited to be able to bring this game to life for them!

Phie Jacobs (They/Them)
Game Master/Writer
I am originally from Boston and am now a rising junior at Wesleyan University studying biology and English. I have just recently joined the team, but I have been playing D&D with our team's other GMs, Tyler Strafford and Dimitri Fulconis, since my freshman year. I'm happy to be joining them at Mages of the Mountains!
